My best friends wedding!!!!! I photographed my best friend Monica's wedding on July 11th. It was a super fun and nerve wracking experience! Monica and Brad are so easy going and went with all of my suggestions so it made it laid back but shooting for a good friend is stressful! I always want the wedding photos to be perfect, but could you imagine if I screwed up my best friends??? I would be a dead woman :) The wedding was at Monica's dads amazing farm, complete with red barns, horses, fields a photographers dream! Brads children were wonderful and Monica and Brad included my little boy in their wedding as well, now its time for a mommas bragging - the picture of all t he guys doing the serious pose has my little man in the front - he was so excited to pose with the guys and he did an excellent job giving me the serious look! So here are my favorites from the day - thank you so much Monica and Brad for letting me have so much fun on your day, I am so happy for you two, and I wish nothing but the very best for your lives together!
Oh and P.S. - Brad sang a song to her that he wrote..... I love that!! So so so sweet!
I know I know I am bias! There is the occasional overlap from my 9 to 5 job and my photography business - for example the earlier post on the anti-cancer book http://expressivestudios.blogspot.com/2008/03/anti-cancer-cookbook-food-photography.html Anyway this time I created the concept for the design and the Cover of the How to Digitally Photograph Cars book. And since i am a bit proud of how it turned out - and I thought it was a cool subject, I thought I would share it. http://www.cartechbooks.com/vstore/showdetl.cfm?DID=6&Product_ID=3784&CATID=16
This was a very sweet wedding, everyone was so wonderful and the venue was just awesome. The ceremony took place right near the lake, it was so beautiful! Here is the website of the resort in case anyone would like to check it out www.arrowwoodresort.com Here are my favorite shots from the day!
This little guy was so cute - he was not to happy, but still sooo cute!
They had antique bikes at the resort - the guys were such good sports! They even had a race after the photo :)
I love this shot! A great kiss!
A storm was a brewin - but it made for awesome color to work with!
MMMMMMM cake :) The little ring bearer was happy after his chocolate cake! :)
Thank you to Jennifer Bullock and Pat Sinco for choosing me to photograph your wedding - you were all a delight and I am so happy I was a part of your day!
